About the event

Horses have a remarkable way of helping us notice what we bring into the therapeutic relationship and organizational dynamics. Through experiential learning and guided reflection with horses, you will practice the skills you need to navigate countertransference in real time.

Expect fresh air, hands-on activities, and yes, plenty of horse time!

This training offers 4 NBCC hours, including 4 Category A Ethics hours, for social workers and mental health professionals.

Goals:

1. Review NBCC Codes regarding the Counseling Relationship.

2. Define countertransference and ethical implications for the therapeutic relationship.
